Noosa & District Landcare Group operate 2 plant propagation nurseries and one retail nursery.

FARM FORESTRY NURSERY

The Farm Forestry Nursery provides a range of tubestock for Farm Forestry operations. The range includes Eucalypts, Cabinet Timbers and some rainforest and riparian species. The nursery produces almost 100,000 tubestock per year.

Prices range from $1.40 to $1.60 + GST for tubestock

RIPARIAN NURSERY

The Riparian Nursery provides a more diverse range of local native species including Cabinet Timbers, Rainforest, Riparian and some coastal species, as tubestock. The stock provided goes to the retail nursery in Pomona for sale, or project plantings, private buyers and landscaping specialists from all over South East Queensland. The diversity of species is variable and dependent upon availability of seed. This nursery produces approximately 50,000 tubestock per year.

Prices range from $1.20 to $1.40 + GST for tubestock

RETAIL NURSERY / ADMINISTRATION CENTRE

Noosa Landcare’s retail nursery is open to the public Weds to Fri, 9am to 3pm and Saturday mornings Saturdays 9am – 11am. There is a diverse range of local native species and someone available to offer advice. From this nursery there is information available concerning all services provided by Noosa & District Landcare and a host of other environmental and weed information. This is also where the voluntary Management Committee, Administration and Management of the Group is based.

Prices range from $1.30 to $2.50 + GST.
